Telezapper - a way to avoid telemarketing calls

Slashdot has a story about a new device being advertised that will send a tone to the auto-dialers that telemarketers use to make them think your phone has been disconnected. Click “read more” to tell us your opinions.

I wonder if there are any possible legal ramifications from this. For example, Replay had a way to zap past commericals and they called that stealing TV because the advertising pays for it.
