I noticed this link (archived link, may no longer work, try this one) on Fark. And it honestly really scares me. What do you all think?





“He who controls the past controls the present.”, 1984. I prefer to remember things the way they were, not the way someone decides they should be now. It all starts with making movies PC or not showing racists Bugs Bunny cartoons, then it moves on to editing old WW2 footage and news broadcasts. Before you know it the Japanese helped us defeat the evil Iranian empire at the battle of Hamburger Hill to save the Visigoths. (or whatever strikes the current dictorships fancy). Are we at war with Oceania? or are they on our side?





Do you think this kinda stuff is “doubleplus good”? What does everyone think? Or did I make way to many Orwellian referances?
