Ringtones really FREE
You know what really pisses me off lately?
The music industry. They closed down Napster, so surprise another 20 share programs come up in its place. Not all good, and not all bad, but no where near the number of users. Then the the Man, gets all over RingTones! Well crap, I just bought a new phone that finally supports ringtones, and since I do not want to be just another lame Nokia generic ringer in the crowd, I go to find some cool ringtones. But now, NO free ringtones anywhere. Alot of sites say free this and free that, but when it comes down to it, you have to pay something for it.
But not at these two sites.
Has a bunch of info for All the hot brands. Not only does it have a huge help section if you can't get your phone to work, but it also has tons of WAP utils, News and other stuff. Oh yeah did I mention FREE ringtones.
The section is pretty big, and you can choose brand specific ringtones for Nokia (both GSM and TDMA), Ericsson, Siemens. You might not find all the cool stuff you are looking for, but there is enough to keep you happy and keep you from looking at your phone when 3 others ring with the same annoying tone over and over again. Among a few I went for are the Simpsons Theme, Star Wars Cantina theme, and Funky Town. The only hassles are a buy the cd link next to the ringtone link and you can not preview the tone before downloading it to your phone. Yeah I know, kinda sucks. But better than paying for it.
The other site is not as great, but still FREE:
http://www.cellphonethings.com
Well at this site they sell mainly phone tidbits. But they also have a link for free ringtones. Only divided into sections such as Movies, Dance and Classical, but still some good songs. Again, you can't listen before you download so sometimes you get a really lame song. But the interface is easy and self explanitory.
Good luck and stop playing the same tone as everyone else, it pisses off the people around you.
